Day 1: New York City
Arrive at JFK International Airport. You will be met & transferred to your hotel for check in. Proceed for a welcome meeting at 7:00pm. From the Statue of Liberty to Ground Zero to Chinatown, New York City is full of things to do and see. Optional activities include a visit to the Empire State Building, visit to Times Square – the hub of the city that never sleeps, Central Park Visit, Staten Island Ferry & 9/11 Memorial Visit and One World Trade Center Observation Deck. Overnight in New York.

Day 2: New York City – Washington DC
After breakfast follow the American history trail in Philadelphia. Stop off at Independence Hall — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — and see the location where the United States’ Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were discussed and adopted. Explore more of the park and see the First Bank of the United States, the Liberty Bell and Carpenters’ Hall. The Liberty Bell was once hung in the steeple of Independence Hall. Walk through the Liberty Bell Center and learn about the facts and myths of this cracked, 940 kg (2,080 lbs) bell, an enduring symbol of freedom. Overnight in Washington D. C.

Day 3: Washington DC
After breakfast enjoy free time to tour the national monuments and memorials of the US capital. Take your time as you spend a full day exploring this fascinating city. Choose to visit the White House, visit 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and learn more about where the president of the US lives and works, visit the Washington Monument, visit the massive obelisk built to honour George Washington, the United States’ first president. The Washington Monument is the world’s tallest structure made entirely of stone and the world’s tallest obelisk. Reopened after suffering damage from an earthquake and hurricane, visitors can opt to travel to the top for a gorgeous view of the city. you can also choose to visit Lincoln Memorial which is a monument dedicated to the 16th US president, Abraham Lincoln, who was instrumental in the abolition of slavery. Take a walk to the National Mall, a park in downtown Washington DC that occupies the area between the Lincoln Memorial and the United States Capitol. Wear comfy shoes – there’s lots to explore in this spectacular green space. The National Mall includes the Washington Monument, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Constitution Gardens, World War II Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, the District of Columbia War Memorial, National Air and Space Museum, National Museum of American History, National Museum of Natural History, the Smithsonian, and much more.

After the sun sets over Washington DC experience a truly magnificent night as the monuments illuminate over the National Mall. See a different side of the city by moonlight. Overnight in Washington D. C.

Day 4: Washington DC – Allegheny National Forest
After breakfast leave for Allegheny National Forest. This scenic drive hugs the shoreline of the mighty Allegheny Reservoir and provides stunning vistas and recreational opportunities. Relax and cool off in clear waters after hiking trails in Allegheny.

Day 5: Allegheny National Forest – Niagara Falls
After breakfast leave Allegheny National Forest for Niagara Falls. Board the Maid of the Mist to get up close and personal with Niagara Falls. The Niagara Falls Maid of the Mist tour takes visitors on an excursion into the basin of Niagara Falls State Park’s Horseshoe Falls. Generations of Niagara Falls visitors have named the Maid of the Mist tour as one of the highlights of their trip. A favourite Niagara Falls State Park attraction for more than 150 years, the dramatic passage ferries past the base of the American Falls, and on to the basin of Horseshoe Falls, through roiling waterfall whitewater and massive rock formations. The Maid of the Mist returns guests to shore with new found appreciation of the power and grandeur of Niagara Falls. Stay after dark and witness the falls illuminated in a rainbow of colour.

Experience a wet and wild mist zone in the Cave of the Winds Tour. Travel 175 ft (53m) down by elevator into the Niagara Gorge. Pull on a rain poncho and sandals, and follow walkways along Niagara River to the Hurricane Deck a few feet from the torrent. No need to shower today as Niagara Falls will bathe you in its downpour.

Day 6: Niagara Falls – Toronto
After breakfast cross the border into Canada and get acquainted with Toronto on an orientation to this multicultural city. You will get to know some of the city’s best neighbourhoods and famous landmarks, leaving you well prepared to make the most of your free time here. Our campsite for the night is located outside of the city. Get out and explore! The CN Tower, Chinatown, Little Italy, eclectic Kensington Market and more are waiting for you.

The CN Tower is Canada’s most recognizable icon. At a height of 553.33m (1,815 ft, 5 inches), it is Canada’s National Tower, the western hemisphere’s tallest free-standing structure, an important telecommunications hub, and the centre of tourism in Toronto.

Day 7: Toronto – Algonquin Provincial Park
After breakfast head north and enjoy this amazing park and its many trails and lakes. Enjoy a hike in the surrounding forest with wildlife interpretation, looking for loons, moose and beavers. Algonquin is the perfect place to connect with nature and truly enjoy the outdoors. Explore one of Algonquin Park’s many lakes by canoe. Discover the beauty of the park and keep an eye out for moose, loons and beavers as you paddle through the calm waters. Overnight in Algonquin Provincial Park.

Day 8: Algonquin Provincial Park
After breakfast enjoy a free day at leisure to explore this amazing park on the many trails and lakes located within the park limits. Rent a canoe or set off for a hike; enjoy spending a couple of nights in Canadian wilderness.

Day 9: Algonquin Provincial Park – Montreal
After breakfast leave for Montreal. Stop off in Ottawa, Canada’s capital, for a few hours. Have some lunch and a take a quick look around this historic city before continuing on to Montreal. Bienvenue à Montreal! Now that’s hospitality with a distinctly French flavour – and what could be more appropriate for the second largest French-speaking metropolis in the world. Enjoy a brief walk with your tour guide to find some tips on getting your way around in this city. Overnight in Montreal.

Day 10: Montreal
Enjoy free time to explore this bilingual cosmopolitan city. Opt to climb Mont Royal or visit La Ronde amusement park. Get out and explore beautiful Montreal.

Mount Royal is a 200-hectare park on the mountain that lies in the middle of Montreal island. It is an oasis in the middle of the city and a lovely place to walk and enjoy the outdoors.

Day 11: Montreal – Boston
After breakfast cross back into the States and travel through the beautiful state of Vermont. Enjoy a brief orientation walk upon arrival in Boston to learn more about the layout of the city. Gain some tips on finding things like supermarkets, main squares, and ATMs. Explore the Freedom Trail, a 4km (2.5 mi) red brick path, and discover the history of America’s Revolution. Follow the trail as it winds through the city and visit many historical sites significant in the lead up to America’s independence from Britain. Stops include Boston Common, the USS Constitution, Faneuil Hall, and the site of the Boston Massacre. Overnight in Boston.

Day 12: Boston – Cape Cod
After breakfast enjoy a free morning in Boston, then head to Cape Cod to set up camp and enjoy the beach. The beach is just a short 20-minute walk away from camp, a great spot to catch the sunset. Overnight in Cape Cod.

Day 13: Cape Cod
After breakfast spend the day enjoying this scenic region. Choose to set out on a boating excursion in search of impressive marine life. This journey offers multiple opportunities to view humpback and Minke whales, along with dolphins and porpoises. Learn about the ecology and natural history of the area from a naturalist guide. Overnight in Cape Cod.

Day 14: Cape Cod – New York City
After breakfast return to where it all began. Opt to visit Times Square, stroll through Central Park or check out Greenwich Village. Enjoy an optional last dinner with your group before saying goodbye. Get any last minute sightseeing and souvenir shopping done.

Come experience the hub of the city that never sleeps. Head to Midtown Manhattan at Broadway and Seventh Avenue – the heart of all the action. Covered in illuminated billboards and advertisements, Times Square is one of the world’s busiest pedestrian intersections and a major centre of the world’s entertainment industry.

Discover Central Park, an 843-acre masterpiece of landscape architecture. Much of the park appears natural, but it is almost entirely landscaped. Designed in the 19th century, it is one of America’s greatest works of art and the nation’s first public park. Explore its walkways and gardens, and, like many other visitors, fall in love with this spectacular green space. Central Park has become the most famous and beloved urban park in the world, featuring extensive walking tracks, bridle paths, an ice-skating rink, a swimming pool, the Central Park Zoo, the Central Park Conservatory Garden, a wildlife sanctuary, a large area of natural woods, and an outdoor amphitheater. Day 15: New York City
After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
